About the Course
The diploma is composed of six papers. Papers are designed to achieve knowledge and skills in designing, installing and testing local and wide area networks. Project management will teach the students to prepare, propose, conduct and execute networking projects and database design and management principles to perform administrative tasks. Graduates will learn how to develop the self-learning and critical thinking abilities plus an extensive range of knowledge and skills across key elements of networking with skills to apply knowledge in the optional strand they select. This will equip them to enter immediately into a productive role within an organisation or progress into further study in specialist areas. This course is a level 7 qualification with total of 120 credits.

Basic degree: any national diploma (college, bachelor, institute) and work experience in IT.
- IELTS overall band score of at least 6.0 (Academic), no individual band less than 5.5
After graduation from Diploma Level 7, and deriving a Job Search Visa by student for employment.
Student’s family allowed to get for the first year of partner’s study and second year of seeking for job- work visa (for second partner) for employment for any job position and Domestic student visa (for children) for attention school for free of charge.
Student can continue study for:
Bachelor of Information Technology or related studies
Graduates will also be able to work as IT technicians, system engineers, server engineers, network technicians, cloud services specialists, system administrators.
Visas for family
A holder of a student visa for study at Diploma program level 7 in IT can bring his family members to New Zealand. Student’s family allowed to get a work visa (partner) for employment for any job position and a domestic student visa (for children) which enables them to attend school free-of-charge.
Founds for living expenses
According to immigration rules, any international student, must have enough money to pay for the course and also 15,000 NZD per one study year. For any additional person evidence of 4200 NZD per year as living expenses is required.
